Seminars

We have developed for our agents a seminar about the underwriting of title issues that come up most often.  The State Bar of Georgia has approved this seminar for 4.0 hours of CLE credit.  The emphasis is on the practical handling of some of the title problems you are most likely to encounter.  The presentation is based on a Microsoft PowerPoint slide show, with tips on claims prevention and some humorous clip art mixed in to lighten it up.  Topics include survey coverage, mechanics’ liens, divorces, estates, foreclosures, and more.  This seminar is helpful for attorneys, paralegals, closing secretaries, and preparers of commitments and policies.  There is a handout, which is a notebook with copies of some relevant statutes, cases, and language for commitments and policies.  We can present this seminar in your office, or you can come here if you like.  Please let us know if you are interested.  Admission is free!
